The Title I Reading Program will be servicing eligible students in Kindergarten through third grade. Mrs. Malec, Mrs. Daniels and Ms. Waters will be working with students in EverGreen Elementary. If a child is eligible to receive Title I services, parents will be notified. Parents must then meet with their child's Title I teacher, in order to sign a compact. This compact gives written permission for the child to participate in the Title I Reading Program. Please contact your child's Title I teacher as soon as possible if you need to sign a compact.
If you are interested in becoming a member of our Parent Advisory Council please contact your child's Title I teacher. The Parent Advisory Council consists of parents, teachers, and Miss Faliskie, the Title I Coordinator. This group meets after school a few times during the year. The purpose of this group is to discuss the strengths of the Title I Program, as well as ways to improve it. Please join us if you can!
Parents often ask if tutoring outside of regular school hours is available. If you are interested in tutoring for your child, please contact your child’s school.
If you would like to view the proficiency levels your child is expected to meet on the state standards you may visit the Pennsylvania Department of Education's website at
Common Core Standards.
On this website you will find a links to the schools’ Title I Parent Policy, the Title I qualifying assessment grid which is used to qualify students to enter the Title I program, and the Title I local assessment grid which is used to show student growth throughout the school year. If you have any questions or would like to participate in the Parent Advisory Council, please contact the Title I Coordinator, Ellen Faliskie, at EverGreen Elementary at 1-800-321-9973.
