Western Wayne junior Matt Poska is pictured here at PMEA All State Band with his director Raymond Stedenfeld. The All-State festival was held in conjunction with the PMEA annual in-service convention In Lancaster, PA, April 18-21, 2012. Only 160 musicians from across Pennsylvania are chosen to participate in PMEA All-State Band each year. Matt was one of 17 Western Wayne students, more than any other school in PMEA District 9, who qualified for District Band held at Lakeland High School in January, and one of nine who qualified for PMEA Region IV Band held at Montrose High School in March. Matt is the son of Michael and Ellen Poska of Waymart.
