-Art Students of the Month for October-
Seniors Paula Strada and Trisha Zintel have been chosen Western Wayne High School’s Art Students of the Month for October. Their work will be on display in the main office and in the library. |

Paula, daughter of Craig and Susan Strada of Lake Ariel, is a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Brain Bee, and SADD. She plays in the band, on the soccer team, and studies dance. Her acrylic artwork, entitled “Self Conscious” illustrates that “about halfway through every piece, I decide I hate it. This piece reflects my self-consciousness as an artist. I used pictures of my unfinished pieces for the background. It’s a reflection of my reaction to my own work.”

Trisha, daughter of Brian and Donna Zintel of Waymart, is also a member of the National Art Honor Society, the reading team, Brain Bee, and SADD. Trisha feels that “the effort finally paid off” in her acrylic piece “Paint You My Soul.” |
