Senior Esther Michel and freshman Maria Ingaglio have been chosen Western Wayne High School’s Art Students of the Month for November. Their work will be on display in the main office and in the library.
Esther, daughter of Betty and Jeantou Michel, resides in Lake Ariel. Her color pencil artwork “Beauty’s True Reflection,” is “to warm the heart while amazing the viewer’s eyes. Reflections, to me, create a whole new world on their own,” said Esther. She is a member of the National Art Honor Society, Student Council, and competes in the Brain Bee. She plays volleyball and runs track and field.
Maria, daughter of Ray and Lisa Ingaglio of Lake Ariel, is involved in theater arts, photography, as well as the visual arts. She is a member of FBLA and the volleyball and softball teams. Her pencil piece “Telephone” “shows what my mind, a pencil, and a picture can really be,” said Maria.
